Late night randomness

Wow, the average subway or bus operator in NYC makes $63k a year. I didn't expect that. Granted, it must be a dull and trying job. (Though I'd love to be a subway operator for a couple weeks. The subway system fascinates me. Heck, there's a ton of stuff I'd love to do or shadow for a couple weeks... ya know, until the intense curiosity is satisfied and it becomes boring. When I was little I was thrilled when my parents first let me do laundry!)

So long Mr... I suppose I never did name you, did I? Though somehow I guess you're male. Anyway, it's been fun. You've been good to me - gave me a hobby, taught me how cars work, got me around in style. In the end you were even considerate enough to rev your last rev in the most opportune place, my driveway, when you could well have decided to kick the bucket in Canada, or worse, hours from home with a full carload of college stuff. You'll be missed. And no, the fact that I only got $330 for you won't make me think less fondly of what you once were.
