Reffing 8 year olds

I think one of the cutest things 8 year old hockey players do, and there are a lot, is when they try to jump over the wall onto the player's bench like the older player. Only... they lack the leg strength to get all the way over.

And I still haven't learned my lesson about not eating less than two hours before a game... I have to remember that I'd rather be hungry than have a huge stomach ache. :-(
