May. 19th, 2004 05:01 amToday was fun. No studying got done today.
Instead, I did some nifty computer stuff, went bowling with Kate, and played six games of pinball from two game's worth of quarters (cause I'm just that good). ^_^ The pinball machine is in the bowling ally, and Kate actually hovered over the machine patiently waiting for me to finish and didn't complain a single bit... That was incredibly nice of her. No one else puts up with me nearly as much as she does. She's a very good friend. Oh, then she and I got caught up with three new that 70's show episodes we seemed to have missed for some reason. Thank god for suprnova.org.
So I'll be home in three days. My last final is Thursday, and I'll be home Friday night. Then I'll have a week or so to chill before I start work. I guess I'll be visiting PA people, playing with my cat, and driving around in a car that's ALL MINE this summer. Yay!
Summer plans after PA people leave:
-Work, probably averaging 40 hours a week, but total flex hours which rocks
-Will probably visit Matt (Broude) a few times since he's still in MA
-Hopefully go to the drivein movies with Holly and others
-Work on some music stuff I've been putting off
-Work on my skating ability for fun and to get ready for hockey next year
-Build a rack mount Gonzo to be hosted in a quality colocation facility where I'll get an insanely fast internet connection (I'll literally be able to have sustained speeds of over 10 megabytes per second) 500 gigs of transfer a month, incredible power protection, environmentally controlled, secured space, etc...
-design/takeover/rebuild Cornell's very new student run schedule creation helper website (like schedule man for CMU people) which will probably get hosted on the new gonzo setup
-Hang out in Boston with my dad
Lots to look forward to. Yes... yes... Will not get depressed that I don't have a girlfriend to spend time with and keep my mind filled with happy peaceful warm fuzzy comforting thoughts. No... no...
