I'm making progress with this people stuff. Today at breakfast, I saw someone in my math class. She's the only one in my class I know by name, since she has the same name of a friend's friend from home. Instead of just ignoring her or saying hello, I said Hi Robin. :-) I'm always terrified of screwing up the name, so I tend to just say hello. I did not go sit with her after I got my food, though... I felt slightly guilty about not pushing myself further, but remembered that I made some progress, so it was alright.

using names is such a good thing. this girl Lee, who used to be in my english class, always uses my name when she says hi, and she is one of my favorite people for it.
