You know the bacon's done when the smoke alarm goes off

I totally can't handle cooking with two pans at once. I tried cooking bacon while I was doing the chocolate chip pancakes. I had some serious issues with the bacon and then temporarily forgot about the pancakes... Plus I discovered I have an oversensitive smoke detector in my room. Arg.

I'm sorry, I shouldn't laugh. I mess up too. like when I put something on, go to chop other things up, and I look back and...yeah.
