Yay, my headphone aren't broken! I realized when I came back to my dorm room and looked for them that I had left them on my window last night... My window gets a whole lot of sunlight during the day, so they were extremely hot... but luckily they still work and I can't notice any sound difference.

I keep my linux wireless outbound router in my window so I can connect to the dorm a couple hundred feet away, and I've learned to put several sheets of white paper to block it from the direct light. I could probably heat up water to scorching temperatures by leaving it on my window sill
