So now that Edwards is out, what happens to the pledged and superdelegate votes? Do they get redistributed or just dropped? It seems like the superdelegates should get to change their minds, though the regular delegates should be stuck with the original percentages from the popular vote. I bet both of them are dropped. Well not dropped so much as no longer important except to take votes away from others.

I still don't know how I feel about superdelegates, granted they're a minority.

This is overly complicated and not, I don't think, in such a way that promotes fairness. Though I do have to say I like the way caucuses are designed... at least what I understand of them.

I could be wrong, but based on what I was hearing on NPR yesterday it sounds like almost all delegates who were going to be voting for Edwards are now free to choose who they vote for.
