I went to do my chem lab in one of the computer labs here, cause I couldn't seem to focus in my room. So, I took a computer in the rpcc computer lab, and found mirc and kazaa running... Someone had installed those programs and had tons of stuff downloading. I decided to poke around a little bit... I found that the guy also had installed an ftp server on the computer. All of his downloads were going into the ftp server's home directory, I guess so he could download what he was downloading from his dorm room. Looking around a little more, I found that he was running a vnc server on the computer. :-P So, from his dorm room, he was telling the lab computer to download illegal stuff, and using ftp to get the stuff onto his dorm machine. Talk about a proxy. ^_^
